OH MY SWEET DEAR JESUS
Ok guys...I'm 20 years old, so I ain't never seen a GD show, but let me tell you so there's no confusion: THIS SHOW HAS CONFIRMED ONE THING FOR ME, and that is that I am a DEADHEAD. Seriously, I don't think I really knew it until about 7:30 into Eyes of the World, that's when it hit me. I was just chilling, really enjoying the show, and then I realized that this is the BEST MUSIC out there. And also, this is quite simply the best Eyes solo I've heard. If anyone has got a better one, give me a date please. Thanks for christening me, Phil. Fucking incredible.
Unbelievable Shakedown to open - Great Venue with incredible acoustics. The first 5 songs had everyone set up for the night and moving... What can you say about Set 2 - Simply Outstanding!!!

Dark Star
Holy Mother of God!!! Just for the Dark Star alone, this show is worth the download. I'm at work, listening to the *.mp3 of Dark Star via the crappy tiny speaker in the PC. Even through this speaker the song is terrific! Thanks Phil!!!

Nice one Phil!
Got in early and heard them soundcheck the Cats - couldn't believe my ears! Certainly can't go wrong with a Dark Star encore. The NJPAC is a beautiful space with wonderful acoustics, very reminiscent of the Kennedy Center Concert Hall. Anyone else notice the constant flashlights? ;-)

A Gem
This show has to rank in the all-time GD/Family board tapes. Just unbelievably tight, great vibe (vibe right out of 1969, with musicianship reflective of many years of experience). This flat out cooks. Dare I say it, one of the best Cats Down Under the Stars ever. Thanks Phil et al. This is IT.

Ratdog
Just saw Bobby's band here in Tucson , saw Phil @ The Philmore in Denver in '03 w/ Gov't Mule. Now this '05 show adds to the great evolution. Sure am glad Bobby and Phil continue to make these break out jams.

Bless you Phil!
Thank you Phil for allowing this wonderful night of music to be made available(and for free!). This is a warm sounding soundboard with so many highlights that I can't begin to mention them all. Everything flows like fine wine on this evening, capped off with an absolutely beautiful Dark Star encore. There's more twists and turns on this version than any Dark Star I've heard post-Dead. I thought the previous night's show was going to be hard to beat but the band may very well have done so here on the 23rd. The interplay between Sless and Campbell is stunning and Molo's drumming is on fire. What a hot band!

Great set
I can't believe I missed this performance and I live near Newark and had been to the PAC just the previous week to see Alison Krauss. My big loss. This is just great stuff and next time Phil passes through the swamp I will absolutly be there. I just wish the download was available in MP3, so I could put it on my pod. Still I'm happy sitting at my desk in the office and being able to stream it. Thanks Phil, I truly appreciate your dedication to the fans who love the music!

Amazing line up
This could possibley be my favorite line up yet. Cant believe im saying this cause Jimmy Herring is my god, but seriously, this is it. The old school americana feel flowing through sless and campbell is unmatched. And mookie just blends with sless' leads (pedal steel or guitar) so fluidly. Amazing song selections, and stunning jams. Thanks so much Phil.

Is there anything this band can't do?
The 2005 Shadow of the Moon Tour has some of the hottest playing ever. This is a beautiful recording. I am giddy. Phil - if you are out there- please keep playing, and thanks for the soundboard. I am hoping that Buffalo will make its way to be an official Phil Lesh and Friends authorized soundboard.
